Cricklewood Homeless Concern (CHC) comprises a Day-Centre and Primary Treatment centre located in the Borough of Brent in North West London. It is a registered charity and is managed by an elected committee. As the only day centre in Brent, the organisation represents an important component of homelessness care provision in the borough. The organisation provides services which aim to support people who are either homeless or are in inadequate housing as they attempt to establish themselves as valued members of the community. Whilst housing problems are the primary problem, a large majority of service users also experience a wide range of related problems such as mental and physical ill health, unemployment, discrimination and social exclusion.
