Formed in 1997, funding from sources such as Dion, and local community funds has helped NISG to develop into an organisation which now delivers social support and advice, runs a weekly drop-in meeting, and co-ordinates youth projects for gaelic sports and dance.
The expansion of their work is helped greatly by the support of other well established Irish groups such as the Clifford-Baldrey School of Irish Dancing, and the local Sons of Erin Gaelic Sports Association.
