We are an active community group interested in sharing knowledge and learning more about Irish Culture, history and heritage. Founded in 2000, we have charitable status and all activities are carried out by volunteers. Our current activities include monthly discussion meetings held in at the Irish Club, Deritend, Birmingham, on the first Wednesday of every month. These begin at 7 pm and everyone is welcome. We are also undertaking a publishing feasibility study and organise training for members. Our aim is to establish a Heritage Centre with accessible archive, library, oral history facilities which would be a resource for the Irish Community and schools, colleges and researchers.
