The Society's objectives are to celebrate, enjoy, gather, inform, promote and share all good aspects of Irish Society and culture. They support education, culture and heritage and offer help, comfort and relief to disadvantaged members of the Irish Community. The Society takes part in the Birmingham St Patrick's Day Parade. They hold an annual Festival of Irish Culture and have dances and ceili nights. There is a thriving set-dancing section.
