Invitation to 'Building a sustainable future for arts organisations': Almeida Theatre London June 2008

Invitation to 'Building a sustainable future for arts organisations'
Almeida Theatre, London - Thursday 3rd July

We would be delighted if you or a colleague could join us for a special one-day workshop on how to plan and build a financially sustainable future for your organisation. The event is hosted by the Almeida Theatre and has been organised by the newly formed Institute of Fundraising Arts and Culture Special Interest Group in association with Action Planning, a leading fundraising and strategy consultancy, and Blackbaud, a leading supplier of software to theatres and museums.

We hope this event will provide real encouragement and assistance to the countless arts organisations facing a less than certain financial future. Drawing on the experience of some of Britain's most successful theatres, drama companies, galleries and museums, we will examine how to:

* secure fundraising 'quick wins' to cover short term funding problems
* develop a diversified, long term fundraising strategy from a range of sources
* identify, recruit and retain wealthy individuals as major donors
* generate new earned income streams
* adapt your vision and strategy to a new financial environment
* lead a process of change, which motivates your key supporters
* make better use of information to cut costs and boost income
* use process management techniques to make things happen

Book now by email mailto:abiggs@actionplanning.co.uk?

Your attendance fee of £65 includes VAT, lunch and a networking reception.

We look forward to hearing from you, and hope to welcome you to the Almeida theatre on 3rd July.

Kind regards,

Sam Coote
