Crawley Irish Festival Sunday 24th August 2008

The 13th Annual Crawley Irish Festival flyer promises to be a great family day out with a special children's entertainment marquee featuring games, songs and stories, with particular emphasis on Irish traditions and folklore - there will even be the chance to make your own leprechaun or magical fairy at our new arts workshop!

The Festival will showcase some great Irish entertainment, music, sport and dance. The main music stage will feature some of the finest Irish music from artists such as Kathy Durkin, Patrick Feeney, Siansa, Solid Gold Country, Brogue and Martin Ruddy. There will also be traditional Irish music from Brogue, Wraggle Taggle, Dun The Veil, Siansa and Reelstrings.

There will also be live GAA Sports, live televised sports, Irish Dancing Displays, a traditional Irish music stage, a beer tent and many stalls offering Irish goods.

The festival is a great family day out over the August Bank Holiday. So keep Sunday 24 August 2008 free in your diary for Crawley's biggest Irish festival ever! The Festival takes place at Southgate Playing Fields in Crawley from 12.00 - 19.00 and is just £5 for adults, £2 seniors and concessions and kids get in free.
