At the Irish Cultural Centre blues guitarist (and former member of Van Morrison's Band 'Them',) Jackie McAuley will take the stage (Friday June 20.) and Ireland's most supreme traditional singer DOLORES KEANE will make a rare appearance for two very special concerts on Saturday Sunday June 28 and 29 .

The Celtic Heart Film Festival opens Friday June 20 with a special screenings of the acclaimed new Irish Feature Film 'Kings' which tells the story of group of friends who emigrated to England in the late 70's promising to return to Ireland rich and successful. 25 years on, only one of them is going home, Jackie -his body in a coffin. Tom Collins's long-awaited tender film is a beautifully shot depiction of the isolation felt by a lost generation of Irish emigrants. (Cast includes Colm Meaney, Donal O Kelly.) It is hoped that Director Tom Collins can be at this screening.
The Film Festival closes on Sunday June 22 with a special preview screening of the new Irish Feature Film Strength and Honour, with a star studded cast, featuring Vinnie Jones, Patrick Bergin and Finbar Furey, the film tells the tale of a young Irish Boxer. The film won 'Best Film' at The Boston Film Festival. Actor Patrick Bergin and Director Mark Mahon will attend the screening.

Photographic Exhibitions;
The Celtic Heart Festival will present 2 major photographic exhibitions. Ireland's leading Photographer John Minihan (famous for his iconic Photographs of Samuel Beckett) will bring his exhibition of Irish Writers to Riverside Studios and leading Irish Film- Maker John T. Davis will bring his exhibition of portraits of his friends Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and John Lee Hooker (along with stills from his cult films Route 66 and HOBO) to The Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith.
