London Irish Centre June Events - June 2009
Our monthly Session is back this Sunday. Set dancing from 12.30pm, great Irish Sunday dinners from 1pm, top quality Irish music session from 2pm (with Karen Ryan and crew), dancing from 3pm, and our regular céilí from 8pm.

Join us to celebrate all things Joyce-related, with performances from Frank Dunne and members of London Irish Theatre from 8pm.
:: Comhrá - Chat 'as Gaeilge' June 10th - 7.30pm FREE Join us for an informal get-together in our native language - all levels welcome. Speaking of which, U.C.L. Nell (Healthy Living Officer) has a wonderful programme of events for the summer, including the Allotment project, Literacy with computers classes, Healthy heart circuit classes, Gentle exercise classes, 'Singing for Confidence' classes, cooking classes AND the opportunity to grow your own veg in Camden Town. :: London Irish Film Club at The Tricycle - July 3rd to Sunday July 5th Our Film Club has teamed up with the Kilburn Festival to bring a diverse mix of Irish cinema to the Tricycle Theatre. Full line-up will be available nearer the date.
:: G.A.A. Training FREE
We've added a second training session on Wed. evenings at 7pm in Finsbury Park. The regular Sunday at 12pm will continue. All are welcome, even if you haven't kicked a ball in years (or ever).

:: Hampstead Theatre Festival/Elders' Drama Group/Six of the Best Our very own London Irish Theatre group has been selected to take part in the Hampstead Theatre Festival in July. We will be developing a new Elders' Drama Group to participate in the piece, which will look at society and the individual's attitude towards aging, with an emphasis on the London Irish Community. London Irish Theatre are also working on a 'Six of the Best' series, showcasing six new Irish productions through the summer. More on this soon.
