London Irish Centre: Sunday Session - March 2009

THE SUNDAY SESSIONS

First Sunday of every month.

Irish music, food, and dance for all.

The London Irish Centre is very happy to announce 'The Sunday Sessions', a family-friendly day out at The London Irish Centre on the first Sunday of every month. Think live Irish music, good quality Irish Sunday dinners, and three different dance events, all in one day.

At the heart of 'The Sunday Sessions' will be the new monthly Sunday afternoon session, run by Karen Ryan, Pete Quinn and company. The session will run from 2-5pm and will take place in the comfort of the foyer bar. Come along for top quality traditional music from some of London's finest players.

If you fancy a taste of home, or just a good old feed on a Sunday afternoon, pop up to the Library Bar for a traditional Irish dinner - served from 1pm. This reasonably-priced fresh food will give you all the energy you need to enjoy a full day of music and dance at The London Irish Centre.

As well as tapping your foot to the session in the foyer bar, we will also host three different dance events at The Sunday Sessions. Geoff Holland will present his very popular monthly Set Dance in the McNamara Hall from 12.30pm; The Social Club will offer a live band and dancing from 2.30pm in The Presidential, and we will finish up with London's longest running céilí from 8pm with Anton Coyle.

Bring the kids, come for dinner, and make a big day out of it - you'll enjoy it!

The next 'Sunday Sessions' will take place on Sunday April 5th.
