Poetry Performance by Gearóid Mac Lochlainn 7.45 - 9.00 p.m.
The Friends' Meeting House, Mount Street (behind Manchester Central Library).

Comhrá (craic in Irish) from 9.30 p.m.
The Jolly Angler, Ducie Street, near Piccadilly railway station.

Saturday 19 September

Film Morning 10.30 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.
Cornerhouse - showing of Cré na Cille followed by post-film discussion and social gathering. Tickets available at £6 (£5 concessions) from Cornerhouse Box Office 0161 200 1500 from late August.

Tuesday 22 September

An Irish Short 9.00 p.m.
The Irish language short film An Leabhar (30 minutes) will be shown as a DVD
St. Kentigern's Social Club, Fallowfield.

Wednesday 23 September

Another Irish Short 9.00 p.m.
The Irish language short film Aqua (25 minutes) will be shown as a DVD
Irish World Heritage Centre, Cheetham Hill.


Thursday 24 September

Book Club Launch 6.30 - 7.30 p.m.
Discussion in Irish of the classic Cré na Cille
Manchester Central Library, St. Peter's Square.

Friday 25 September

Irish Language in Manchester Through the Years 7.00 p.m.
Participants in Irish language activity past and present will gather for a commemorative photograph
Manchester Town Hall, Main Entrance, Albert Square.


Club Cuideachta (craic in Irish and English) from 8.00 p.m.
Briton's Protection (upstairs), Great Bridgewater Street.
