O'Neill's in Birmingham is giving fans of Gaelic Football an opportunity to get up close to the game's greatest honour this Saturday (7thFebruary) when it welcomes the Sam Maguire Cup.

Broad Street-based O'Neill's is giving customers an opportunity to have their photo taken with the prestigious trophy - from 4.00pm to 5.00pm - as part of its sponsorship with the British Universities Gaelic Athletic Association's (GAA) Championship, which starts this Friday at venues across the Midlands.

Andrew Barton, manager of O'Neill's Broad Street, said: "Thirty One teams battle it out for the Sam Maguire Cup each year to reach the pinnacle of Gaelic Football, and it's a great honour for O'Neill's to have this opportunity for our customers to get their hands on such a high profile trophy.

"As well as welcoming one of the greatest honours in sport, Saturday also marks the start of this year's Six Nations Rugby Championships. Why not complete a fantastic day of sport at O'Neill's with a pint of Guinness and great tasting dish from our exciting menu."
