You can now order an Official Long Form Birth, Death or Marriage Certificate online 24/7, 365 Days a year for any legal matter, for any person registered within the 26 counties, under the Freedom of information act. The turnaround in posting Certificate's worldwide is 2 working days** so why stand in line while you can go on-line?
Orders are placed online at www.birthsdeathsmarriages.ie (which means you can track your orders) or alternatively, you can phone your requests to 01-801 33 33 between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday - Friday (except Bank Holidays).
The charge per Certificate is €35.00 (€25 per additional copy of same cert ordered at the same time - Express order for swift post €45.00; To fax copy of cert prior to Posting is €2.50), Search Fee is just €15.00. Only orders sent by Express post can be tracked or guaranteed for next day delivery - any issues from mislaid or lost orders must be addressed with An Post if "express delivery" was not chosen (due to the fact that records are only kept for post sent via express /swift post), although there are very few incidents of lost post, it is best that you are fully aware. With Companies who have opened an account / place regular orders, we facilitate a process that best meets your requirements so please discuss this with one of our Customer Services representatives. Cheques/Postal Orders should be made payable to "Births Deaths Marriages" and posted to our administration centre at :
