Project Title: What factors influence cultural assimilation in Irish immigrants to the UK?

Project Description: This study is examining the relationship between cultural assimilation and other factors influencing the lives of Irish immigrants in the UK. To complete the study, you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire pertaining to certain aspects of your life in the UK, which should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

There is very little likelihood of any after affects, discomfort or stress being caused to you by filling out these questionnaires. However, should you feel that the study has affected you in a negative way, please contact me in the first instance and I will put you in touch with someone who will be able to help.

If you have any questions, before or after filling in the questionnaire, please feel free to ask. It is possible that I will not be able to give definite answers prior to you filling out the questionnaires as to do so might prejudice your responses. However, you are welcome to email me to receive a summary of the study's findings on completion.

Confidentiality of the Data

The questionnaires will be stored separately in order that your anonymity might be maintained. The questionnaires might also be seen by members of UEL staff supervising me in this project. Following completion of the study, the data will be destroyed.
