The Summer's Rocking Race Track Sees The Saw Doctors Take to the Stage

The Saw Doctors, who hold the record for Ireland's biggest-selling single of all time in 1990 ('I useta Lover'), will be kicking off the Lingfield Park concert season with their original and energetic blend of punk, folk, pop and rock and roll.
They'll also be playing their version of the Sugababes song 'About you now' which soared into the charts last Autumn, beating off international artists such as Pink and Kings of Leon.
Guests will be able to enjoy a thrilling evening's racing, before The Saw Doctors take to the stage. To round off the night, they'll watch as the sky around Lingfield is lit up by a dazzling firework finale.

Commercial director, Philip Pride, said: "The racing and music nights are always very popular with all ages and we've aimed to put together a calendar that caters for all tastes. This year we are delighted to welcome The Saw Doctors who will really get the season off to a great start. And throughout the summer we have some other really great acts to compliment the evening's racing and entertain guests into the night, including a fireworks finale to round up the evening, courtesy of Aurora Fireworks."
Later on in the Racing and Music Nights season at Lingfield Park, guests will have a chance to enjoy a very varied programme of artists: A 90's and Noughties night, starring Kylie tribute act Faye Richards; 70's soul legends Heatwave; A Ladies Evening featuring The Battle of the Divas; A concert by The Stars of the Commitments; and finally as a grande finale to this hot summer of racing and music, an appearance by Abba tribute band Abba Fever.
The evening is also in association with the NSPCC who will be holding their summer fundraising event at Lingfield Park on June 20.
The Racing and Music Nights are free to racegoers after selected summer evening race meetings and you save £5 by booking tickets in advance online or by telephone, for just £15. As always at Lingfield Park, kids enter for free with a full paying adult and tickets can also be purchased on the gate, on the day for £20.
